The second set I used the hook option. I purchased 2 sets of these. Both tubes fell off and broke. I bought 4 and am delighted that I did, the Hummingbirds love these feeders and so do I.

I would not recommend this feeder because of this. I bought this from Fleet Farm and it does not have the silver perch attachment that all of the other Homestead triple bin feeders have.

Easy to fill and clean is another plus. Maybe putting a couple of "barbs" on the "spikes" would help keep the oranges in place longer. My orioles are pleased with their treats, and I am overjoyed with the sturdy construction.
