Nice try but no cigar on this one. Small squirrels climbed the pole right up through the slinky and came out the top stretched out part. Easy to attach. Bigger squirrels jut kept pulling it down and climbed it like a ladder.

I bought this from Fleet Farm and it does not have the silver perch attachment that all of the other Homestead triple bin feeders have. I would not recommend this feeder because of this.
