Not squirrel-proof. The doors that come down to shut off access when a squirrel stands on the perch are PLASTIC and the squirrels just chew through them and can the eat as much as they want.

Very disappointed. These are great. Easy to keep clean and they can be separated so the birds do not have to compete We bought three of these for our deck and all three of them leak.
