The only reason I give 4, instead of 5 stars, is that I think they are a little expensive, considering its a bag of dead bugs. They love it so eat all no left over to get moldy . Our chickens and ducks love these.

There are no sunflower hulls left laying around and I like that. (I use squirrel proof feeders). I like it because there is very little if any waste. The birds love this and it is great that there are no shells to clean up.

Safflower seed has gotten really expensive at other vendors, and our local retailers do not carry it unless it is mixed with other seed that draws squirrels. I live in the intermountain west and can't find this size/price in my city.

Don't know about your squirrels but our squirrels in the coastal area of NC loved itback to the safflower seed for us When we saw that this bird seed was "Squirreless" we were excited to try it.
