Absolutely THE BEST squirrel proof feeder EVER!! Sturdy construction. I needed something to keep the Crows, grackles , and other large birds from eating up the suet and scaring the songbirds away.

The only thing that could be better is if the clear plastic tube was more heavy duty. Works great for almost all sizes of birds.

I like that it can feed more than the normal feeder. We feed lots of hummingbirds. Leaks at both ends. Received this as gift 1 yr ago, thought what a great idea. You cannot get rubber gaskets on end to keep from leaking.

Also, lowering, refilling, and raising the feeder can be done without any sort of step or ladder. This hanger allowed me to easily relocate our bird feeder so the deer could not reach the feeder.

I think they love their new resident. I've only had the 2 hotels for 1 week. This is a great addition to my garden! My beneficial insects move in almost immediately.

With this one having four cups I don't have to fill the feeder twice a day. I was feeding jelly twice a day when I had a feeder with only one cup.

I bought one of these a few years ago in a store, cost a lot more then purchasing it from Fleet Farm, even with shipping. I have 2 types of Finch also Doves eat off ground under feeder.

You have to put almost a full quart of liquid in just to get to the ports so you are continuously adding fluid just to keep it full enough, the rest of fluid goes to waste It lights up our back deck at night.

But otherwise a solid purchase. This one fit all our needs. Birds love it too! Bought this a while back and in seems to work pretty well. Slight issue with the flow out so you may want to slightly widen to holes.

I hung it and now am concerned that when the orioles land on it their weight will tip it and the liquid will spill out. It says no drip... Perhaps I assembled it incorrectly. First time I purchased this feeder.

Year round use. We fill half way to see bird on either side. At this price, a must.only down side, birds prefer a perch, so we added a coated hanger piece thru middle, bent on each side now we get 4 birds at a time.

8oz is the right size for enough nectar, but not so much it spoils before the hummers get their fill. This style feeded is absolutely the best! The feeder 'blooms' are angled precisely right in order to allow the hummers to feed and not allow heavy rain...

Don't know about your squirrels but our squirrels in the coastal area of NC loved itback to the safflower seed for us We had been buying safflower seed since the squirrels do not like it.
