This feeder looks great and should last a long time. Seems to work well where we place it. I filled all of the surface holes with exterior grade wood putty. I just purchased the Backyard Boys fly through feeder.

This feeder expands the number of feeding opportunities for the hummers...each one can have their private feeder...no need for the chases to protect their feeding station. Very disappointed.

At this price, a must.only down side, birds prefer a perch, so we added a coated hanger piece thru middle, bent on each side now we get 4 birds at a time. Love this feeder. We fill half way to see bird on either side.
