My only complaint if only the Smaller birds can get in to eat,but I'm guessing that's how it's Squirrel proof It works great. It takes the songbirds a week or two to learn how to get into the suet but they do and it keeps the bad birds out.

Can clearly see when feed is low. CONS: since it's one-sided, only one bird feeds at a time. You must buy the Perky-Pet Transparent Squirrel Baffle to make this feeder work; otherwise I would return it.
