The Goldfinches love these socks and they are easy to eat from. Sometimes I have 10 or 11 on a sock at one time. Chickadees and House Finches also use them. When they get dirty, I just wash in some mild detergent, dry and they are good to go again.

It works great. I needed something to keep the Crows, grackles , and other large birds from eating up the suet and scaring the songbirds away. My only complaint if only the Smaller birds can get in to eat,but I'm guessing that's how it's Squirrel proof

After dumping bird seed all over TWICE and spending about an hour trying to find a way to fill it and get it sealed back up, I gave up and opted for another feeder option. Nice idea but near impossible fill design...not worth $20 and the bag of seed lost.

Due to wind, the feeder twisted the feeder off the stainless connecting rod and the feeder fell to the ground, shattering the plastic. So, if you buy one, also make sure you use Loctite to secure the stainless rod into the base of the feeder.

I was searching for other products, but wanted to quickly search for this feeder to be sure it was still available at Fleet Farm. The top especially loses its color. The store is awesome!! Thank you
