It's perfect for small birds. It holds a lot of seed, and it does keep squirrels away for the most part; although nothing entirely works to keep squirrels out. But it holds them at bay enough that the birds get a fair shot at the seed.

The only thing that could be better is if the clear plastic tube was more heavy duty. Works great for almost all sizes of birds.

It was held in place with 10 dots of adhesive. Wondering how long it will take for water to get in and warp the wood. When I pulled it off (trying to be careful), it pulled off paint AND wood from where it had been stuck.

Nice to have color. We fill half way to see bird on either side. Love this feeder. At this price, a must.only down side, birds prefer a perch, so we added a coated hanger piece thru middle, bent on each side now we get 4 birds at a time.
