Due to wind, the feeder twisted the feeder off the stainless connecting rod and the feeder fell to the ground, shattering the plastic. So, if you buy one, also make sure you use Loctite to secure the stainless rod into the base of the feeder.

Sturdy, well-constructed. Would purchase again! We needed a way to secure our bird feeder to an upper floor deck where squirrels would be unable to reach it. The arm pivots in whichever direction you need, so you can mount it to any side of the deck.

Year round use. We fill half way to see bird on either side. Love this feeder. Extremely durable.easy to hang and easy to fill. At this price, a must.only down side, birds prefer a perch, so we added a coated hanger piece thru middle, bent on each side...

The screws snapped when trying to insall, but no big deal, just got better ones. Does exactly what it's supposed to.

Wish it had a longer chain though. Don't but this if you don't wish to waste suet. Bought one thinking it would be good. Watched a crow open the door and knock the suet block out. I bought this cage along with some suet because the prices were so good.

Slight issue with the flow out so you may want to slightly widen to holes. Birds love it too! Bought this a while back and in seems to work pretty well. This one fit all our needs.
