Not squirrel-proof. The doors that come down to shut off access when a squirrel stands on the perch are PLASTIC and the squirrels just chew through them and can the eat as much as they want.

I like that it can feed more than the normal feeder. Tried this spring again & finally gave up on it. Leaks at both ends. We feed lots of hummingbirds. Nothing but trouble with it.

Highly recommend! You can use it as a birdbath and just sprinkle your bird seed on the ground below it, or take the round plastic bath part out and use it as a feeder. Blue jays were able to use it but with some difficulty.

This feeder expands the number of feeding opportunities for the hummers...each one can have their private feeder...no need for the chases to protect their feeding station. Very disappointed.
