It held up very well but now needed replaced so I ordered a new one. This is a great company to order from with quality products! easy to fill and loved by all including the squirrels.

Most importantly, it does NOT defeat squirrels. When I set to the most sensitive setting a small red squirrel had some trouble but a big, fat grey squirrel had no problem. CONS: since it's one-sided, only one bird feeds at a time.

It keeps the squirrels out and some of the larger birds. This has been a good purchase.

The doors that come down to shut off access when a squirrel stands on the perch are PLASTIC and the squirrels just chew through them and can the eat as much as they want. Not squirrel-proof.
