The birds love it! And when I lost a bolt in 4 ft. Log only lasted 3 days. It did attract a variety of birds but the squirrels mananged to greedily eat it. I have replaced it with a log feeder with a squirrel proof cage.

Seems to work well where we place it. Would be a litttle more sturdy if they used screws instead of staples for the joints. It's nice and big and fly through.. This feeder looks great and should last a long time.
