Due to wind, the feeder twisted the feeder off the stainless connecting rod and the feeder fell to the ground, shattering the plastic. I glued it back together and took pieces of the old feeder so I have functional feeder again.

Nice, well made product. And even THEN, it held tight, just bent. Very happy with it! We had 3 of these for about 10 years. Until a very large black bear grabbed one from below to pull the food closer.

Lots of room for multiple feeders. EXCELLENT feeder if you have a lot of birds like we do! :) I have this exact one that I bought 6 yrs ago. It held up very well but now needed replaced so I ordered a new one.

Most importantly, it does NOT defeat squirrels. You must buy the Perky-Pet Transparent Squirrel Baffle to make this feeder work; otherwise I would return it. Can clearly see when feed is low.
