Care for your Yucca Cane is easy
This low-maintenance houseplant requires little care and looks great for years!
LIGHT: Yucca Cane grows best in bright to medium light. Grow Yucca Cane in just about any room of your home. While it tolerates low light, Yucca Cane grows fastest in brighter conditions.
WATER: Allow the top inch or so of the soil to dry between waterings. If the tips of the leaves of your Yucca Cane turn brown, boost humidity by grouping it with other houseplants.
FEEDING: Fertilize Yucca Cane a few times a year, in spring and summer, to keep it healthy. Use a general-purpose fertilizer labeled for houseplant use.
PRUNING/SHAPING: Yucca Cane typically doesn't require pruning or shaping to keep its good looks. Remove yellow or faded leaves.
REPOTTING: Repot your Yucca Cane if it becomes root bound. (A houseplant is root bound when roots appear in the soil or begin to escape through drain holes in the pot bottom.) A well-draining potting soil mixture for is recommended when repotting.
OUTDOOR OPTIONS: Yucca Cane can spend the summer outdoors on a shaded deck or patio. Bring the plant indoors as the weather cools down. Yucca Cane cannot withstand a freeze.
