When I pulled it off (trying to be careful), it pulled off paint AND wood from where it had been stuck. It was held in place with 10 dots of adhesive. Wondering how long it will take for water to get in and warp the wood.

This product is a great value and quality for feeding my woodpeckers and other birds who love the bar! I buy Katie Woodpecker bars by the case two or three times a year to keep my woodpeckers, nuthatches, titmouse (and of course the jays) happy.
They hold together very well. The birds really like the bell-sometimes there are 5 birds on it at once. So, we can see the bell from our second-story bedroom window while lying in bed.

They were priced very reasonable and last a long time. Don't use in hot weather. The large size of these suet cakes fit in my large suet cage and makes refills less frequent. The birds love this suet!

The morning after hanging it, there it was on the ground, in pieces. The hanging wire was stripped out of the center and would not reinsert, the clear portion was in about 5 pieces.
