This is a great addition to my garden! My beneficial insects move in almost immediately. I've only had the 2 hotels for 1 week. I think they love their new resident.

I mix them in with the birdseeds. They love it so eat all no left over to get moldy . Our chickens and ducks love these. The only reason I give 4, instead of 5 stars, is that I think they are a little expensive, considering its a bag of dead bugs.

I have not even tried to figure out the hardware, because it requires a special "LOCKNDRY" cord. It has been out of the box. I replaced the cord using an outdoor extension cord for parts.

Also, lowering, refilling, and raising the feeder can be done without any sort of step or ladder. This hanger allowed me to easily relocate our bird feeder so the deer could not reach the feeder.

Additionally the ant trap on the top works flawlessly. This style feeded is absolutely the best! The feeder 'blooms' are angled precisely right in order to allow the hummers to feed and not allow heavy rain to dilute the food.

I bought two of these for my feeders and they have been great. Highly recommend if you like to feed birds. Well made, great design and easy to use.
