This is my 2nd one in 10 years. The mourning doves and collared pigeons tried but were to big and maybe clumsy. Highly recommend! Is well made and sturdy and should last many years.

By the way, it's not necessary to use 4 suet cakes. I find that the feeder stays balanced with 2 cakes--or even one. I loved this feeder from the moment I hung it up--and, what's more important, the birds love it! They were attracted to it immediately.

I've probably made 100 or more. Fleet Farm came through, of course. Nice design, better than single cake holders as we have many birds coming to our feeder and no need to keep opening and putting more in the single ones.
