I suspect raccoons tried to get to the hanging feeder. I had a previous gazebo style feeder that lasted for about 50 years.I was expecting more from this product. The morning after hanging it, there it was on the ground, in pieces.

I bought this about two months ago. Small squirrels climbed the pole right up through the slinky and came out the top stretched out part. Nice try but no cigar on this one. Frustrates the dickens out of the squirrels.

The only thing that could be better is if the clear plastic tube was more heavy duty. Works great for almost all sizes of birds.
