I have 2 types of Finch also Doves eat off ground under feeder. I bought one of these a few years ago in a store, cost a lot more then purchasing it from Fleet Farm, even with shipping.

I got the house bird feeder,the birds like one side but will eat it all eventually.

I had some left over asphalt shingles so, I covered the roof with the shingles. I just purchased the Backyard Boys fly through feeder. This feeder looks great and should last a long time.

Hook is also perfect to use as a garden marker, to hang small lanterns or lights, or to hang decorative objects. A convenient step-in base provides a strong anchor for the entire hook.

Do wish the top of suet feeder was secured to the wire or something though. It is very well made and I am very happy with my purchase. I live in the country surrounded by woods. I have tons of different kinds of woodpeckers including the big Pileated.

This feeder seems indestructible, and rinses completely clean with a hose Bought this a few months ago to replace a platform feeder made of wood, and this is a far superior product.

I bought this because I needed to not have to fill the feeder more often than once a week to fit in my schedule. Have it hanging rope to take it down to fill. I bought a Squirrel X feeder for my birds and bought this for my squirrels! I would love it...

Not sure why such an aggressive adhesive was used - a hang tag would have been better. It was really difficult to remove - the adhesive was very strong. When I pulled it off (trying to be careful), it pulled off paint AND wood from where it had been stuck.

Birds love it too! Bought this a while back and in seems to work pretty well. Slight issue with the flow out so you may want to slightly widen to holes. This one fit all our needs.

Wish it had a longer chain though. Watched a crow open the door and knock the suet block out. Don't but this if you don't wish to waste suet. Found the side door open three days in a row and squirrels feasting on the suet block which was lying on the...

Blue jays were able to use it but with some difficulty. I use it as a feeder and hang it near my real bird bath and it is a great way to attract birds. The mourning doves and collared pigeons tried but were to big and maybe clumsy.

I always purchased them a Mills Fleet and Farm in Mason City, Iowa, when I am home visiting family. I needed another since the hummers arrived...so I ordered it from Mills and I am very happy

Now to get bluebirds to nest in it! There was a battle between sparrows and wrens for nesting. It is well built and easy to mount and will also be easy to clean when nesting is finished for the year.
