Perhaps I assembled it incorrectly. It says no drip... First time I purchased this feeder. I hung it and now am concerned that when the orioles land on it their weight will tip it and the liquid will spill out.

Definitely not a deal breaker. Bigger squirrels jut kept pulling it down and climbed it like a ladder. Easy to attach. Worked at first. Once in a while a little metallic clink in the wind.

But it holds them at bay enough that the birds get a fair shot at the seed. Ideal for small areas Easy to fill I love it. It holds a lot of seed, and it does keep squirrels away for the most part; although nothing entirely works to keep squirrels out.

Very pleased with purchase, I really like the feeder as do the chickadees. My local stores carry the station but not just the socks... I have 2 types of Finch also Doves eat off ground under feeder.

Remember, get trays. Since that time I have purchased three more. I received on feeder and tray for Father's day and was really impressed on the way birds could sit and eat. Also the food was eaten and not blowing all over.

The feeder is, in fact, put together with staples. I put 8 screws in the roof to make sure it was tight. I had some left over asphalt shingles so, I covered the roof with the shingles.
