Seems to work well where we place it. I filled all of the surface holes with exterior grade wood putty. I bought this bird feeder a month ago and it was just what I was looking for!! I can see all the birds that feed here..

It's perfect! I love this feeder as it holds so much seedbut my squirrels like it too. I had one for 5 or 6 years before I had to replace it with a new one. Have it hanging rope to take it down to fill.

I have it at the cottage and it offers more food for the birds between visits there especially in winter. I like that it holds four suet cakes. (They sell quite well, and make great gifts.) Besides, this is the best price anywhere.

With this one having four cups I don't have to fill the feeder twice a day. I was feeding jelly twice a day when I had a feeder with only one cup.

It holds a lot of seed, and it does keep squirrels away for the most part; although nothing entirely works to keep squirrels out. But it holds them at bay enough that the birds get a fair shot at the seed.

Quality construction made in the USA for less than $20 can't be beat - and they're adorable! Expectations! Super price, nice size, and seem very durable. They always thrill the gift receiver!!!
