The stalks are cut cleanly and then held in the gathering drums for transfer to the feed rolls. This header also does a great job harvesting other standing crops, like barley, wheat, and sorghum with minimal losses.
The New Holland 750BFI is a big disc corn header designed for harvesting tall, high-yielding corn. The throat area feed towers are widely spaced to feed the FR feedrolls evenly across the full width.
