I have had this saw for a few years now, and it has been a great value for the money. My little 16" wasnt cutting it. Bought it a week ago. A great value for the price. Used it for some storm clean up and it performed great.

Now I have to buy a special to adjust it... I have wild thing 18 inch and Poulan Pro 20 inch. In 2 years they will start once then wont restart. It was wearing out, started to slip etc so I decided to buy a new Poulan -- HUGE mistake, right off the bat...

Chains are poor quality too. Got this as a gift from my father in law. Very difficult to start even with the Effortless Pull System. The PR4218 is perfect for medium cutting jobs such as limbs and medium-size tree removal.

I have had this saw for 15 years. It's been a great saw for us. I bought this saw after a storm knocked down a big tree in my back yard and it cut the tree up nicely...but I had a hard time starting after a few times...but learned to only choke it halfway..
