Maypop

This native vine produces gorgeous fragrant flowers from mid to late summer on 6-8' vines. The fragrant flowers attract flocks of butterflies. The flowers turn into edible fruit called ''maypops''.

It makes a sensational garden statement when they are planted together. The flowers are followed by tasty. The woody vine has three-lobed, dark green leaves and it climbs by tendrils so give it a fence, trellis or other structure to grow on.
