Water and electric lines run underground below frost line. The 303 Riser Tube protects the water supply line from the cold by insulating it in urethane foam, and warming it with a low wattage heating element.
If the tank gets a small leak due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a bullet hole, it can be braze welded with a common butane torch to fill the hole. All edges have been rounded for safety & strength.
