The feeder has been up 1 week. The orioles are becoming accustomed to this very different style feeder. Easy to fill and clean is another plus. Maybe putting a couple of "barbs" on the "spikes" would help keep the oranges in place longer.

The red squirrels had a party inside of the feeder. It works great. It takes the songbirds a week or two to learn how to get into the suet but they do and it keeps the bad birds out.

This feeder falls apart easily, even when it's exposed to harsh weather. I contacted the company and they happily mailed me a new one, free of charge. That one fell apart in two weeks.

This style feeded is absolutely the best! The feeder 'blooms' are angled precisely right in order to allow the hummers to feed and not allow heavy rain to dilute the food. 8oz is the right size for enough nectar, but not so much it spoils before the hummers...

Nice idea but near impossible fill design...not worth $20 and the bag of seed lost. Took about a day or two, but the finches caught on quickly! Very happy with our purchase! Cage keeps the crows and other larger birds from destroying the inner plastic...
