They held up under the harshest weather and everything... Works great for bird feeders, too. Very happy with it! We had 3 of these for about 10 years. And even THEN, it held tight, just bent.

I had some left over asphalt shingles so, I covered the roof with the shingles. Here is what I did. I put 8 stainless steel screws (#8 X 1.5 inches) (2) at each corner. I put 8 screws in the roof to make sure it was tight.

The only thing that could be better is if the clear plastic tube was more heavy duty. Works great for almost all sizes of birds.

Sometimes I have 10 or 11 on a sock at one time. The Goldfinches love these socks and they are easy to eat from. Chickadees and House Finches also use them. This is a great product for your wild birds!

Nice idea but near impossible fill design...not worth $20 and the bag of seed lost. After dumping bird seed all over TWICE and spending about an hour trying to find a way to fill it and get it sealed back up, I gave up and opted for another feeder option.

I bought this feeder to replace an identical model that I'd purchased several years prior. I glued it back together and took pieces of the old feeder so I have functional feeder again.
