Kent Golding is the premium English aroma hops first developed in the 1790s from the old Canterbury Whitebine variety. It has light, fluffy cones, small in size, with low amounts of pale yellow lupulin.

A delicious high alpha variety with a spicy, lemon taste and slight hint of pine. Alpha acid 11-14%. The flavour is very "European", and so this variety is used in lagers, pilseners, bitters, red ales, strong bocks and strong stouts.

Good rose scent. Deeply cut grey-green leaves with narrow white border.
