He has three excellent gaits that are very uphill and he is free through the shoulder. In Rapture R's pedigree, 5 of the first 7 mares are State Premium or Elite Mares, and 9 of 15 S.P.S.mares going back 4 generations.

He is also a finished roper and runs the head. He has all transitions, a solid stop, and a nice rollback. He has been ridden on the beach and on trail, he is an absolute gentleman.

He is green over fences but has always jumped anything I put in front of him he just needs some more experience. He is good on the trails. He is 100% sound. Merlin would do best with a intermediate rider with a soft hand and consistent riding.

He is currently in training in Oakland, California where he will stay until sold. He is doing well in training, and progresses every day. He will probably be best suitable as a dressage prospect (either english or western).
