This is the second set of two I have purchasedthe first set lasted 18 years!!

I needed another since the hummers arrived...so I ordered it from Mills and I am very happy I always purchased them a Mills Fleet and Farm in Mason City, Iowa, when I am home visiting family.

I bought this cage along with some suet because the prices were so good. Found the side door open three days in a row and squirrels feasting on the suet block which was lying on the ground.

8oz is the right size for enough nectar, but not so much it spoils before the hummers get their fill. Additionally the ant trap on the top works flawlessly. This style feeded is absolutely the best! The feeder 'blooms' are angled precisely right in order...

At this price, a must.only down side, birds prefer a perch, so we added a coated hanger piece thru middle, bent on each side now we get 4 birds at a time. Nice to have color. Year round use.

They especially like using the "floor" to stand on while they eat, so It's a big improvement over the square suet cage feeder that I was using previously. I find that the feeder stays balanced with 2 cakes--or even one.

I regret buying this. I would not recommend this feeder because of this. All of the others I found online did have the perch attachment. I bought this from Fleet Farm and it does not have the silver perch attachment that all of the other Homestead triple...

I had one for 5 or 6 years before I had to replace it with a new one. It's perfect! I love this feeder as it holds so much seedbut my squirrels like it too. I bought this because I needed to not have to fill the feeder more often than once a week...

Small squirrels climbed the pole right up through the slinky and came out the top stretched out part. Once in a while a little metallic clink in the wind. Easy to attach. Nice try but no cigar on this one.

And even THEN, it held tight, just bent. They held our bird feeders and suet from the deck railing out over the lawn. Very happy with it! We had 3 of these for about 10 years. Until a very large black bear grabbed one from below to pull the food closer.

The cleaning mops were so old the foam bristles had yellowed.
