I received on feeder and tray for Father's day and was really impressed on the way birds could sit and eat. Since that time I have purchased three more. Also the food was eaten and not blowing all over.

The cleaning mops were so old the foam bristles had yellowed.

A coat of Min Wax stain (to seal the wood) and then two coats of polyurethane satin finish. Here is what I did. This feeder looks great and should last a long time. Total additional investment, about $7.00.

This has been a good purchase. It keeps the squirrels out and some of the larger birds.
