It however does not work with the little red squirrels. Not sure how but they did. Thought it was a great feeder until the squirrels figured it out. Unfortunately the squirrels got the lid off.

Found the side door open three days in a row and squirrels feasting on the suet block which was lying on the ground. Don't but this if you don't wish to waste suet. Bought one thinking it would be good.
