I've been using this suet feeder hardware to make pileated woodpecker feeders for at least a dozen years. I've probably made 100 or more. I have it at the cottage and it offers more food for the birds between visits there especially in winter.

The feeder is, in fact, put together with staples. This feeder looks great and should last a long time. A coat of Min Wax stain (to seal the wood) and then two coats of polyurethane satin finish.

Using it for hanging a plant on the patio deck railing. Nice, well made product. They held up under the harshest weather and everything... They held our bird feeders and suet from the deck railing out over the lawn.
