Our vegetable seeds do especially well in hot, humid climates where vegetable production can be difficult. Our herb selection also includes dormant root stock of ginger, ginseng, goldenseal, black cohosh, false unicorn, and wild yam.
- Soil: Prefers to grow in pH 5.5 to 6.5 soil in association with beech, oak, poplar, dogwood, or maple (not pines).
- Flowers: Single flowers with greenish-white stamens
- Pests and Diseases: None noted when grown in the proper environment, otherwise they may be susceptible to Botyrtis fungus in mid to late summer, but plants rebound the following spring.
