Erigeron Stallone

( Erigeron linearis ) This little daisy is a real gem! It's bright gold flowers bloom for weeks and are hardy enough to grow in sagebrush, open rocky slopes, and grasslands, giving rise to its other common name: desert yellow daisy.

( Erigeron compositus ) This little daisy has it all! From its distinctive foliage to its dainty dime-sized individual flowers, this early bloomer establishes well and grows in a variety of conditions and soil types.

The dark-green compound leaves are made up of three to five leaflets, with a row of thorns up the center ridge at the back of the leaf. It's now an herb that has piqued my interest because of its intense spicy flavor and array of uses.
