Droll Yankee Bird Feeders

Great customer service! First time ordering from you. Got these to replace ones in 2 feeders that I've got...they are smaller (more shallow) but still fit.

I put 8 screws in the roof to make sure it was tight. The feeder is, in fact, put together with staples. A coat of Min Wax stain (to seal the wood) and then two coats of polyurethane satin finish.

I hope my suggestions will be considered. I got my about 5 years ago. I bought this because I needed to not have to fill the feeder more often than once a week to fit in my schedule.

I ordered this last batch by mail because we recently moved away from Minnesota - to Massachusetts - and I can't find a local supplier. I've been using this suet feeder hardware to make pileated woodpecker feeders for at least a dozen years.

This is the second set of two I have purchasedthe first set lasted 18 years!!

The cleaning mops were so old the foam bristles had yellowed.

The morning after hanging it, there it was on the ground, in pieces. I built a wooden one. I suspect raccoons tried to get to the hanging feeder. I had a previous gazebo style feeder that lasted for about 50 years.I was expecting more from this product.

I needed another since the hummers arrived...so I ordered it from Mills and I am very happy I always purchased them a Mills Fleet and Farm in Mason City, Iowa, when I am home visiting family.
