Squirrels dominate feeders, create a mess and eat much of the seed, nuts and fruits. While squirrels may still visit and feed at feeders, once they get a taste of the hot seeds, most will look for other sources of food.

Love this feeder. Year round use. Nice to have color. We fill half way to see bird on either side. At this price, a must.only down side, birds prefer a perch, so we added a coated hanger piece thru middle, bent on each side now we get 4 birds at a time.
