Cardinal Bird Feeder Lowes

Here is what I did. Seems to work well where we place it. Would be a litttle more sturdy if they used screws instead of staples for the joints. This feeder looks great and should last a long time.

I had one for 5 or 6 years before I had to replace it with a new one. Have it hanging rope to take it down to fill. I got my about 5 years ago. I bought this because I needed to not have to fill the feeder more often than once a week to fit in my schedule.

Fleet Farm came through, of course. I ordered this last batch by mail because we recently moved away from Minnesota - to Massachusetts - and I can't find a local supplier. (They sell quite well, and make great gifts.) Besides, this is the best price anywhere.

This is the second set of two I have purchasedthe first set lasted 18 years!!

The cleaning mops were so old the foam bristles had yellowed.

I suspect raccoons tried to get to the hanging feeder. I built a wooden one. The hanging wire was stripped out of the center and would not reinsert, the clear portion was in about 5 pieces.

I needed another since the hummers arrived...so I ordered it from Mills and I am very happy Locally, these window feeders are not available even through Lowes. I always purchased them a Mills Fleet and Farm in Mason City, Iowa, when I am home visiting...
