Tight clustered, compact cones require careful oasting (kiln drying) and conditioning. The aroma is strong and sharp, with a citrusy, herbal and resinous elements. Its brewing characteristics are quite similar to Centennial but stronger.

Good for picking, drying and baling. Cascade was the first widely grown American-bred aroma hop with a relatively low bittering value. Alpha acid 4.5-7%. It is one of the most popular hops for craft brewing and is great for dry hopping.

It is a diploid hybrid (USDA 21522 X USDA21361M) with Cascade parentage that gives it better winter hardiness than Saazer. Alpha acid 6-9%. It is a Saazer type, but with stronger aroma, alpha oils and bitterness.

Cross between Peltham Golding and 63012M. Super alpha hybrid variety with high vigour and yield. Alpha acids 10-14%. It is a dual purpose variety with good bittering and flavoring qualities and heavy aroma.
