They are small enough to fit inside the wire caging and will sit there and eat for hours. It however does not work with the little red squirrels. Thought it was a great feeder until the squirrels figured it out.

First thing is its so easy to hang up! poked a hole in the lid used it as a catch tray at the bottom, pulled a wire through the bottom and hung it on the railing. Fun to watch them eating at the seed cylinder.
