This is by far the favorite food for birds that we put out in our feeders! We live on 3 acres and get quite a wide variety of birds at our feeders. The birds just love the nut and berry seed and I find myself filling the feeders often!

I mix it half & half with Kaytee sunflower seeds. Great food for all birds !!! they love it just wish it wasn't so expensive i'm on SS and it gets tough at times I've looked everywhere to be able to afford Kaytee's "Nut and Fruit" bird seed.

I am pleased with the design and the quality of these bird houses.

They especially like using the "floor" to stand on while they eat, so It's a big improvement over the square suet cage feeder that I was using previously. I find that the feeder stays balanced with 2 cakes--or even one.

Not squirrel-proof. The doors that come down to shut off access when a squirrel stands on the perch are PLASTIC and the squirrels just chew through them and can the eat as much as they want.

Orioles especially love this grape nectar and favor it over orange.

(They sell quite well, and make great gifts.) Besides, this is the best price anywhere. I have it at the cottage and it offers more food for the birds between visits there especially in winter.

I have tons of different kinds of woodpeckers including the big Pileated. I live in the country surrounded by woods. Do wish the top of suet feeder was secured to the wire or something though.
