It seems to be fairly sturdy especially for hummers. Leaks at both ends. We feed lots of hummingbirds. Tried this spring again & finally gave up on it. Nothing but trouble with it.

Also, lowering, refilling, and raising the feeder can be done without any sort of step or ladder. This hanger allowed me to easily relocate our bird feeder so the deer could not reach the feeder.
