You can use it as a birdbath and just sprinkle your bird seed on the ground below it, or take the round plastic bath part out and use it as a feeder. I had one of those pine and acrilico feeders but only small birds could use effectively.

Love this feeder. At this price, a must.only down side, birds prefer a perch, so we added a coated hanger piece thru middle, bent on each side now we get 4 birds at a time. Nice to have color.
