When I set to the most sensitive setting a small red squirrel had some trouble but a big, fat grey squirrel had no problem. Can clearly see when feed is low. Most importantly, it does NOT defeat squirrels.

By the way, it's not necessary to use 4 suet cakes. I loved this feeder from the moment I hung it up--and, what's more important, the birds love it! They were attracted to it immediately.

The price was incredibly reasonable. This is a great hummer feeder stand. Once this stand is firmly in the ground, the feeder hangs less than 12” off the ground. It arrived quickly after ordering.

Sturdy cage holds a single cake and stands up well to multiple birds. Don't but this if you don't wish to waste suet. Bought one thinking it would be good. Wish it had a longer chain though.

Could not find these here. Love the glass! So easy to keep clean! Also, the flower part keeps out ants and bees, etc. Have to refill it in just a few days. Moved from Minnesota to Tennessee 2 years ago.

The product described was exactly what I was searching for. The baffles protect the feeders from the squirrels. It's comical to watch the squirrels try acrobatics and get past this baffle.
