Very disappointed. I have ten feeders..one in each hanging basket. This feeder expands the number of feeding opportunities for the hummers...each one can have their private feeder...no need for the chases to protect their feeding station.

Can clearly see when feed is low. You must buy the Perky-Pet Transparent Squirrel Baffle to make this feeder work; otherwise I would return it. CONS: since it's one-sided, only one bird feeds at a time.

It works great. My only complaint if only the Smaller birds can get in to eat,but I'm guessing that's how it's Squirrel proof The red squirrels had a party inside of the feeder. It takes the songbirds a week or two to learn how to get into the suet but...

Due to wind, the feeder twisted the feeder off the stainless connecting rod and the feeder fell to the ground, shattering the plastic. I glued it back together and took pieces of the old feeder so I have functional feeder again.

Since that time I have purchased three more. Remember, get trays. I received on feeder and tray for Father's day and was really impressed on the way birds could sit and eat. Also the food was eaten and not blowing all over.

There is 3 different ways to mount birdbath; ground, clamp or post. The plastic water basin is removable for easy cleaning. It is thermostatically controlled to operate automatically.

By the way, it's not necessary to use 4 suet cakes. I find that the feeder stays balanced with 2 cakes--or even one. I loved this feeder from the moment I hung it up--and, what's more important, the birds love it! They were attracted to it immediately.

I was searching for other products, but wanted to quickly search for this feeder to be sure it was still available at Fleet Farm. Definitely and highly recommend this hanging feeder! We were visiting my sister in Wisconsin and she took us there.
