Log only lasted 3 days. It did attract a variety of birds but the squirrels mananged to greedily eat it. Of snow, Fleet Farm sent me the name of the manufacturer and the number of the part, and they sent me a replacement for free! I Had great expections...

8oz is the right size for enough nectar, but not so much it spoils before the hummers get their fill. This style feeded is absolutely the best! The feeder 'blooms' are angled precisely right in order to allow the hummers to feed and not allow heavy rain...

All of the others I found online did have the perch attachment. I would not recommend this feeder because of this. I bought this from Fleet Farm and it does not have the silver perch attachment that all of the other Homestead triple bin feeders have.

Easy to fill and hang in our trees. I am very happy with this purchase! It is worth every penny.

The cleaning mops were so old the foam bristles had yellowed.

I hope my suggestions will be considered. I had one for 5 or 6 years before I had to replace it with a new one. I got my about 5 years ago. Have it hanging rope to take it down to fill.

Slight issue with the flow out so you may want to slightly widen to holes. It hold twice or more as much feed so less refilling. Birds love it too! Bought this a while back and in seems to work pretty well.

I especially like it for that reason but I also appreciate that the woodpeckers can eat naturally in a vertical position with the tail prop design. I have tons of different kinds of woodpeckers including the big Pileated.

When I set to the most sensitive setting a small red squirrel had some trouble but a big, fat grey squirrel had no problem. Most importantly, it does NOT defeat squirrels. CONS: since it's one-sided, only one bird feeds at a time.
