We got this for keeping the sun off our hummingbird feeder. I had to replace the hanging hook with a bolt so we could adjust it.

Thought it was a great feeder until the squirrels figured it out. Very disappointing. Not sure how but they did. Unfortunately the squirrels got the lid off. Yes it keeps the big gray squirrels from getting the bird seed.

Was skeptical but it really works, squirrels cant see the food from the too and when they venture to far the dome tilts down and down they go as well. The slope on it is better than the more expensive ones.
