Since we live in the woods and have many squirrels, I thought this might be the answer to our problem. Not sure how but they did. It however does not work with the little red squirrels.

Nice idea but near impossible fill design...not worth $20 and the bag of seed lost. After dumping bird seed all over TWICE and spending about an hour trying to find a way to fill it and get it sealed back up, I gave up and opted for another feeder option.

(They sell quite well, and make great gifts.) Besides, this is the best price anywhere. I've probably made 100 or more. I ordered this last batch by mail because we recently moved away from Minnesota - to Massachusetts - and I can't find a local supplier.

Seems to work well where we place it. A coat of Min Wax stain (to seal the wood) and then two coats of polyurethane satin finish. It's nice and big and fly through.. The feeder is, in fact, put together with staples.

The only thing that could be better is if the clear plastic tube was more heavy duty. Works great for almost all sizes of birds.

Don't but this if you don't wish to waste suet. Wish it had a longer chain though. Found the side door open three days in a row and squirrels feasting on the suet block which was lying on the ground.

Great customer service! First time ordering from you. Got these to replace ones in 2 feeders that I've got...they are smaller (more shallow) but still fit.

It keeps the squirrels out and some of the larger birds. This has been a good purchase.

Easy to fill and hang in our trees. I am very happy with this purchase! It is worth every penny.

I had to replace the hanging hook with a bolt so we could adjust it. We got this for keeping the sun off our hummingbird feeder.
