I built a wooden one. The hanging wire was stripped out of the center and would not reinsert, the clear portion was in about 5 pieces. The morning after hanging it, there it was on the ground, in pieces.

It works great. Birds love to hang around on it and NO squirrel can get to the food. Thanks so much for a great product. My only complaint if only the Smaller birds can get in to eat,but I'm guessing that's how it's Squirrel proof

It held up very well but now needed replaced so I ordered a new one. A bit of wd40 helps the pests to slide on through. EXCELLENT feeder if you have a lot of birds like we do! :) I have this exact one that I bought 6 yrs ago.

Very disappointing. Better that than finding them crawling inside feeder and eating all the seed I guess. Not sure how but they did. They are small enough to fit inside the wire caging and will sit there and eat for hours.
